Did you know that the intelligence of your spouse will affect YOUR intelligence?
Believe it or not, finding the right spouse could make you smarter.
Researchers Warner Schaie and Sherry Willis have done a great deal of work in the areas of aging and cognition, and have reported the following in their publication Mind Alert:
“In our study, we followed a number of married couples over a long period of time. It turns out that married couples’ intellectual performance converges over time: The spouse with lower cognitive functioning early in the marriage moves in the direction of the higher-functioning spouse, cognitively speaking. So the bottom line is that you should marry someone who’s smarter than you are.”
Your spouse can be good (or bad) for your mental health!
Dat fiind faptul ca acel "you" e generic avem o problema.
RăspundețiȘtergereEA vrea sa se marite cu EL, ca printre altele e si mai destept decat EA. Numai ca si EL a citit articolul asta, si atunci vrea sa se insoare cu cineva mai inteligent. Cu EA2. EA2, pe aceleasi considerente, il vrea pe EL2. Si uite asa.
Iata o posibila, eventuala explicatie pentru celibatul unora.
Noroc ca intelighentia e de mai multe feluri, ca altfel se ducea pe apa sambetei institutia casatoriei.
